In 1987, the first pousada at the Presidio beach, the "Pousada do Sol", was inaugurated, inspired by the beauty of a beach with natural white sands and dunes, warm waters and natural pools during low tide. In harmony with nature, cows, goats, horses and donkeys often saunter past our front door, as if we were in the middle of the countryside, 300 meters from the sea and 40 km (25 miles) from Fortaleza. |

In an area of 3,000m², fully shaded by coconut palms and a grassed garden, is our charming and cozy inn (pousada). Under new management since 2004, the recreation area has been expanded with two swimming pools, a games room and a playground. |

The pousada also offers restaurant service, open to the public, with traditional and regional dishes. So, with individualized service, the Pousada do Sol is for those who enjoy peace and quiet in a very friendly setting. |
